A damp, ordinary October week with nothing extreme in it. Monday and Tuesday bring drizzle on calm air, Tuesday the wetter of the two. Wednesday is the cool point, 6 to 9°C with light rain, a day for the heavier coat. Thursday is the pick: partly cloudy and back up to 13°C, though a shower is still more likely than not. Friday's rugby crowd gets the heaviest rain of the week and a moderate breeze. The weekend settles into drizzle again, 6 to 14°C, with the breeze hanging on into Sunday.
